Some may remove a little tissue test with a needle while others may surgically evacuate a suspicious Lump. In specialist may conclude that he or she needs a sample of your tissue/cells to help analyze a disease or recognize a tumor. The removal of tissue/cells for examination is known as a biopsy.

In the event that you have been encountering indications typically connected with growth, and your specialist has found a range of concern, he or she may arrange a biopsy to help decide whether that region is dangerous.

  • Inflammation within organs such as the liver or kidney can be seen in a biopsy sample.
  • Sometimes you may already have a condition but a biopsy can help to assess how severe it is. For example, a biopsy may help to find out how severe inflammation is within an organ such as the liver. It may also help in determining the type or stage of cancer.

How do you prepare for a Biopsy?

In a needle biopsy, a pin prick will be felt and a sharp pinch.
