How can I make laser hair removal less painful?

There are many types of laser hair removal procedures available to remove unwanted excess hair. This is the very latest technology in hair removal techniques. The one thing they all have in common is that they can stop hair from growing to a lesser or greater extent, but finding the least painful method is also often a concern among many patients.

Modern laser hair removal systems are available with different methods. Some are more painful than others, including the traditional “shots” laser hair removal treatment.

A revolution is underway, for body hair removal that is virtually painless. The Pain-Free treatment offered by KEMPS Skin Clinic, can now free you from daily shaving, painful plucking and expensive waxing to give you silky smooth and beautifully bare skin.

What Does Laser Hair Removal Feel Like?

Many of our clients at KEMPS Skin Clinic liken the sensation of Laser Hair Removal to a small elastic band snapping against the skin. While you would not actively seek such a sensation, it is very much preferable to feeling the roots of your hair getting ripped out as you do with hot wax.

At KEMPS Skin Clinic, we use the superior Candela Gentle Lase system, which includes a patented Dynamic Cooling Device. This system sprays a layer of cryogen on the skin milliseconds before the laser pulse, dramatically improving your level of comfort and rendering the hair removal treatment virtually painless.

What if Laser Hair Removal Does Hurt Me?

While Laser Hair Removal is a comfortable experience compared to other hair removal treatments, we do understand that pain thresholds differ between individuals. If you do experience pain during the treatment, talk to your qualified KEMPS Skin Clinic technician and we can make adjustments to get you through the treatment painlessly.

Painless Hair Reduction Treatment by KEMPS Skin Clinic

Painless Hair Reduction technology is the next-generation of laser hair reduction systems. It is a simple and easy permanent hair reduction solution that uses new breakthrough technology, often described as one of the most comfortable laser hair reduction options available today.

Certain factors which can influence pain experienced by the treatment include:

·         Skin type (Darker skin types find treatments more painful as there is more pigment in both the hair and the skin)
·         Hair type ( Thicker and darker hair will generally be more painful)
·         Hormonal Fluctuations (Menstruation for example) or if you are tired and stressed may increase sensitivity to the treatments as well.

Is it painful?

The majority of people find the Soprano laser very comfortable. Pain tolerance is subjective, but many patients often describe the sensation as soothing as a “hot stone massage.”

Since laser hair removal is only effective on short, visible hair, candidates should shave the desired area a few days before the treatment and let the hair grow into stubble. Do not wax or pluck hair beforehand, because hair may not grow back in time for your treatment.

What causes skin pigmentation on face and it’s treatment?

Facial pigmentation may be due to a generalized process but most often is localized to the face. Melasma and actinic damage pigmentation are common and tend to be bilaterally distributed and slowly progressive. Irregularly shaped isolated lesions should be viewed with more caution, and biopsy may be required. Treatments include topical and oral medications, peels, intense pulsed light therapy and laser treatment.

Causes

When your skin produces too much melanin, the pigment responsible for the color of your skin and hair, you may notice spots of discoloration or an uneven texture. A number of different factors can influence your body’s melanin production, including:

Common causes of skin include:
  • Sun exposure
  • Hormonal changes
  • Heredity
  • Acne
  • Botched skin treatments

Diagnosis:

A doctor will diagnose pigmentation simply by looking at your skin. Your medical history will help to determine any factors that may have caused the disorder.

Our doctor may use a special lamp that gives off ultraviolet light. This allows the doctor to see patterns and depth of skin discoloration more clearly.

There are various causes of hyperpigmentation, including
  • Overexposure to the sun
  • Heredity
  • Picking at the skin
  • Endocrine diseases and hormonal changes
  • Certain medications such as antibiotics, cancer drugs, antiseizure
  • drugs and more
  • Current or recent pregnancy, or current or recent use of birth
  • Inflammation and skin injuries from acne lesions, psoriasis, burns,
  • Friction and even certain professional skin care treatments.

Skin pigmentation laser treatment

Some lasers can be used for the treatment of skin pigmentation and have minimal or no impact on normal skin. This is possible due to the process of selective photothermolysis. This is a term that describes how a particular laser wavelength is attracted to pigmented lesions and only minimally to the normal skin to allow selective removal of a lesion. This allows the laser to selectively disrupt the pigment with minimal or no damage to surrounding skin

Treatment of skin pigmentation

There are many products available on the market for this condition; however, at KEMPS Skin Clinic near Vaishali metro station, we offer a range of medical procedures which have proven very effective in the treatment of skin pigmentation and other skin conditions.

What is Fungal infection and how its cure

Fungal skin infections are caused by different types of fungi and can be a common culprit of itchy skin. Fungi invade and grow in dead keratin, a protein that makes up your skin, hair and nails. The different types of fungal infections are divided into groups based on what type of fungus is involved.

Fungal skin infections can be itchy and annoying, but they're rarely serious. Common infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm are caused by fungus and are easy to get and to pass around. In healthy people, they usually don't spread beyond the skin's surface, so they're easy to treat.

There are lots of kinds of fungus in this world and they can affect humans in different ways. Most are harmless, but some can make you sick or some can even kill you, and then there’s the very special kind of fungus that can take your brain to magical places. That can be fun, if you’re into that sort of thing, but for most people, fungus only causes irritating skin or nail infections that aren’t terribly fetching.

Here are some common types of fungal infections:
  • Tinea (say: TIH-nee-uh) is a type of fungal infection of the hair, skin, or nails. When it's on the skin, tinea usually begins as a small red area the size of a pea. As it grows, it spreads out in a circle or ring. Tinea is often called ringworm because it may look like tiny worms are under the skin (but of course, they're not!).
  • Athlete's foot is another type of fungal infection that usually appears between the toes but can also affect toenails and the bottom or sides of the feet.
  • Jock itch is a fungal infection of the groin and upper thighs. You might think only men and boys get it, but girls and women can get it, too.
  • Ringworm (Tinea Corporis) can appear in the form of a red or silver rash anywhere on the body. It is usually ring-shaped and is most commonly caused by the fungus.

How fungal infections are spread

Fungal infections are spread by direct skin contact (with humans or animals), or indirectly from contaminated articles on floors or in the soil. Shared changing rooms and showers are often a source of tinea, while some infections are spread by sharing of items such as towels.

Symptoms of Skin Fungi

The fungal skin infection depends on the type of fungus that’s caused for it, and where it is. Fungal rashes can sometimes be confused with other skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

You might be able to manage it at home with medicines that you can buy over-the-counter. If you need advice about medicines, ask a pharmacist. If it gets worse or isn’t helped by over-the-counter medicines, contact your Dermatologist for advice.

Infections caused by different fungi have different symptoms, but there are a few general things to look for. The infection with which you are currently blessed may have only a couple or several of the characteristics listed here.

Patches of scaly, discolored skin (pink, white, or shades of brown)
  • Itchiness in the affected area
  • The area slowly grows in size
  • Hair loss or change in the area
  • The area becomes irritated or more noticeable with sun exposure

Treatments for Skin Fungus

The basic steps to keeping you free of fungus start with keeping your skin clean and dry. Fungus grows in warm, moist areas, so don’t let those words describe your skin. If you do have an infection, As suggest By Senior dermatologist Dr. Manju Keshri at KEMPS Skin Clinic Vaishali Ghaziabad that keep clean and maintain hygiene so you away from Fungal infection on your skin and body.
